Texas Sunset

The magical allure my musical career once held is now gone. Amidst the thunderous applause, I feel hollow.

I have poured my heart and soul into being a country singer, yet I remain unhappy.

Going to Texas is the solution. Not only would I get much-needed rest, but I would also be honoring my mother by visiting the place she loved most.

I did not count on meeting him, though. Broken but utterly beautiful, our attraction is undeniable. Maverick has ensnared me, and I am helpless to do anything about it.
