Adam, an investment banker from Manhattan, needs a change. After spending a short vacation in Snowfall Springs, he decided to sell everything and move to the cozy town. He buys Coffee Corner, a quaint and charming coffee shop that is popular with the locals. But Coffee Corner isn't empty; it's haunted by the ghost of a woman named Emma.
Emma has been in a coma for 15 months. The granddaughter of Coffee Corner's previous owner, she is determined to "return" to her body and get her life back.
It turns out that Adam is the only person who can see or hear Emma. They work to figure out how she can wake up. And while they navigate the world in between the living and the dead, he and Emma begin to fall in love.
